Benefits of Private Yoga
Private yoga classes or sessions are great for everyone regardless of the level you are at
A class or private session is structured to your preference or needs.
Alignment is an important issue for many, especially those who are new in the practice. It is very likely that during a class or group session it will take time to get used to a sequence, listen to the names of the positions, and even trust whether or not you are doing the posture with the proper alignment.
In a private session, the pace is usually slower, I clarify doubts, and I take the time to explain and guide you through the correct alignment. Some students simply prefer the settings, others do not.
I evaluate your level and build sequences specifically for your needs. My service is offered at my home studio, online, or you can enjoy your practice from the comfort of your home.
If you prefer, I can also leave you with sequences or Asanas for extra practice between your sessions.
Going to a yoga class should always be a happy and fun time, a space you can release tension and stress. Today we live in a world that doesn’t stop, we all have busy schedules, and it is not always possible to arrive at the evening class across the city. In private yoga, your sessions will be tailored to your schedule; either in the comfort of your home, my Home Studio (if living in the local area), online, or a local park.
I assure you that you will enjoy this flexibility to the fullest.
Yoga Classes
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic combination based on the union of movement and breathing through sequences of postures (asanas) linked together. Traditionally the purpose and the ultimate goal of a Vinyasa class is to deepen the practice through self-knowledge and mindfulness.
With consistent practice, you will help your body gently detoxify, create lightness, strength, more stability, mobility, and physical toning. Vinyasa Yoga is also highly recommended for those seeking to improve their coordination, posture, balance, concentration, focus, and body flexibility.
Hatha Yoga
This style of Yoga is slower, calmer, and therapeutic for everyone as it does not require previous experience. However, it does not mean that it is easier, on the contrary, you learn to dominate the body and also, control and dominate the mind.
With constant practice, you will develop more physical strength and flexibility, improve your lung capacity, calm your mind and body, help you rest better, and improve the health of your back. Many do it as a treatment to improve or maintain good health.
Prenatal Yoga
During pregnancy, individuals typically engage in a specific yoga practice known as prenatal yoga, unless there is a medical contraindication. Prenatal yoga is performed from the first trimester until the day before delivery.
It has multiple benefits because it is an excellent way of self-knowledge, enjoyment of pregnancy, connection with our femininity, with our feelings and of course, with the baby.
It exhibits a gentle, yet fluid and dynamic practice.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is a slower yoga style and therefore not as intense as that of other types of yoga.
It is ideal for anyone who prefers or needs a smoother, calmer and more relaxed practice. It is also a good option for those current practitioners who do not have the strength and flexibility to continue advancing in their practice.
To harmonize your yoga session I include soft music and Aromatherapy. I always bring props, mats, and other equipment for your convenience.
If you live in the Savannah and surrounding area, the sessions are offered at home or in my home studio. If you are out of the area online session via Skype, Zoom, and Messenger are available.
I also offer sessions and classes in Español.
