When I started using essential oils many years ago it was as an aromatic method. Over time and little by little I discovered all the benefits that Aromatherapy offered both to my health and that of my family.\u00a0<\/p>

Essential oils are essential for holistic wellness, providing natural and versatile benefits to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. With their unique properties and rich chemical composition, these oils are invaluable for promoting relaxation, soothing, and enhancing overall health and vitality.<\/p>

Over the years as I explored and educated myself about their different methods of use, I became aware of the importance and impact of sourcing and quality of the essential oils. This became increasingly important for me, considering that here at home we are a large and active family, and stress levels<\/a> fluctuate in accordance with the workload of each week.<\/p>

These have been available to us for thousands of years, they are not a new trend. They are an eco-friendly, holistic, versatile, and economical resource, which when used properly, can be very effective. Since they are extracted from trees, flowers, herbs, spices, and aromatic plants, they contain multiple properties and an extensive chemical composition making them extremely concentrated and potent. The large proportion of aromatic components found in each essential oil is what makes it unique.<\/p>

It is important to keep in mind that not all of them are the same. The quality and purity of an oil can be affected according to its geographical location, distillation methods, among other factors.<\/p>

These are very versatile and offer us multiple health benefits. Each essential oil has different uses, and each individual adapts them in their own way according to their specific needs and desires.<\/p>

Among its benefits we can find that they serve as astringent, offer soothing, anti-bacterial and energizing properties; they also promote the functioning of the immune and digestive system.<\/p>

Some of the main properties found in essential oils are soothing as mentioned before, relaxing, anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal.<\/p>

It is worth mentioning that pure therapeutic grade essential oils are derived from the distillation of medicinal plant to obtain its essence, and that is why they are called essential oils.<\/p>

In the practice of Aromatherapy, when essential oils are applied externally, they are absorbed through the skin and transported to the bloodstream, reaching our different internal systems and tissues. The same happens when inhaled. When diffused in a diffuser, we inhale its aromatic molecules which are absorbed by the olfactory system and from there they reach the internal organs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The truth is that although it seems like a complex issue, we can all learn to use essential oils and Aromatherapy in our favor, and thus be able to enjoy all of its emotional and physical benefits.<\/p>

The application methods and uses of essential oils have evolved over time. Among its many uses are the aromatic method, used in cosmetics and beauty products, the topical method, in aromatic massage, internal use, and the clinical method used as an alternative and integral medicine, which only qualified and trained herbalists can use and work with.<\/p>

As a wellness advocate for doTERRA, I promote three different methods: aromatic, topical, and internal. I mentioned earlier how the first two methods are used; Now we will talk about the latter, the internal method.<\/p>

The internal method was what attracted me most to doTERRA essential oils. Some oils have the backing of extensive culinary history, and can certainly be used in any daily diet to obtain their benefits. It is a safe and effective method that when ingesting essential oils, they enter the bloodstream through the gastrointestinal tract where they are transported through all the organs of the body. It is a practical and convenient method that my family and I have enjoyed for quite some time.<\/p>

With this method you can replace fresh or dried herbs or spices with essential oils in your favorite recipes. You can add essential oils to any beverage of your choice and you can add them in small amounts to your yogurt or simply adding the essential oil to a vegetable capsule, following the necessary specifications.<\/p>
